Do you want a well behaved puppy?
The primary goal for this class is socialization and very basic behaviors. If your puppy is under a year, this class is for you. At the conclusion of the class, a test will be given to your puppy where they earn their S.T.A.R puppy award. This is a great place to start for dogs of any age that might need socialization.
You will learn a system to communicate with your dog effectively.
You will learn the body mechanics of luring your dog to train behaviors
Your dog will learn the benefit of focusing on you in all situations.
Your dog will learn the mechanics of sit and start to put a cue to it.
Your dog will be exposed and make positive associations with people, objects, sounds, and surfaces.
We will teach your dog to be handled by strangers and desensitize them to touching and grooming.
Your dog will learn basic leash pressure and begin to be comfortable walking on a leash.
Your dog will learn the beginning stages of a recall.
