This class focuses on teaching your dog the basics of being a good canine citizen. From loose leash walking to basic manners, your dog will illustrate the traits of a well-behaved and disciplined dog.
Your dog will learn to walk politely on their leash without pulling.
Your dog will learn to ignore a valuable object in their close proximity.
Your dog will learn the recall in this phase and we really put emphasis on making coming back to you rewarding.
Your dog will learn to stay where you tell them to without moving (even a paw).
Your Dog will learn to lie down where you tell them to and stay.
Your Dog will learn to go out in public and maintain control.
We will teach your dog to be handled by strangers and desensitize them to touching and grooming—while under distraction.
Your dog will learn basic manners of being a good citizen. No jumping, barking at other dogs, or acting in any other inappropriate manner.
